After Ben, the first book is this series, was one of my all time favourites. I thought Con Riley’s writing in that heart wrenching book was brilliant. It’s a close call but I think Aiden’s Luck might just top that. This story is all about family – the good, the bad and the ugly. It’s about one mans mission to save his family from the truth, his sense of duty over a 5 year period that leaves him struggling and barely surviving.

Aiden’s adoptive parents are everything to him. They saved him and then later his brother Evan from the care system and all that implied. They were a regular family of four, happy and content until his father committed suicide. With his mother suffering a mental breakdown and family services sniffing around making sure Evan was suitably cared for Aiden made a decision that would change his life. He took over ALL responsibility for his family not realising at the time just what a difficult thing that would be and how much it would affect and change his life...
