Story:

The second book in the Chemistry series from Andrew Grey focuses on quarterback Freddie and scholarship kid Kurt. They are different as can be, but somehow they work, on some level. They spend more time fighting than together in the story, and I sometimes had trouble seeing them as a couple. But when they were apart, my heart hurt for Kurt. When I learned just why they were apart, my hurt was a bit tender for Freddie.

BioChemistry takes on the very real issues of coming out, coming to terms, and confronting the detractors in your life. Freddie seeks the guidance of Josh, from Organic Chemistry. Unlike many stories of this ilk, Freddie TAKES the advice given to him and moves the story and his stagnating relationship forward. This story is on the shorter side, so it can’t delve deeply into the thoughts and feelings of the main characters, but you get enough to be empathetic to the struggles of both Freddie and Kurt...
