So, soulmates for humans are a thing and finding yours guarantees love but not necessarily harmony. Our two mcs find each other young and split due to differences in… something, the book isn’t really clear; the blurb insinuates social class but the book seems to implicate different reasons. However:
“The tangles we think we can never unsnarl tend to work themselves out in the end. That’s what the soulmarks are all about, aren’t they? No matter how strange or uncanny we’ve got proof that there is such a thing as love in this world. Or the potential for it.”
And so our pair is reunited...
