Oh, I just love this novelette’s title … and according to Molly, the bride in this delightful story, whippoorwills have “an ethereal song and are considered good luck, and a symbol of everlasting love.” A lovely sentiment that just happens to prove accurate not only for the bride and groom, but for Jake and Everett as well.

This super sweet story is a “will they or won’t they” story – Jake, the bride’s policeman brother, and Everett, the groom’s professor best man, meet at the wedding rehearsal dinner and flirty looks passed between the two men all evening. They like each other a lot, but they keep getting interrupted by the wedding day chaos and festivities any time they attempt to spend any time together...
