Amy Lane has done it again! Blackbird Knitting in a Bunny’s Lair a wonderful blending of sadness and hardship with humour and love. The whole Granby gang is back and supporting each other through Jeremy’s recovery, Ariadne’s pregnancy and the birth of her daughter.

Jeremy is so sweet yet damaged. This is really the story of him finding his worth, with Aiden’s love and support, while doing for others. I adored the love and generosity showed throughout the story, despite the few who were against them. It felt real and was heartwarming. I think all our lives would benefit from a little charity in them.

I had “Blackbird” playing in the back of my mind (Sarah McLachan’s version) as I read the book and it was the perfect accompaniment...
